Today we went to the Norsk Folkemuseum. That translates into: Norway People Museum. That is not the best description of what it is. It is a large trac of land where they have moved houses and other buildings, from around Norway, from all earlier periods. They have an area set up to be Downtown Oslo. They have another area the would be called a suburban Oslo. And another area of farm houses and such. A truely memorable day. At the end, I have included some closeups of the structure of some of the buildings. I, at least, find that sort of stuff facinating! Well, enjoy! Let's walk down a street in Osl, circa 1750 Care to stop at the bank? You know, if you attempt to rob the bank, you end up in JAIL: Well, we had to leave the pub, to use the loo ... Hmm his and hers? Let's head out of town now .. here is the inn circa 1650 Farm house, circa 1840

Another farmhouse, circa 1818 Care to peak into someone's kitchen to see what's fer dinner? HOLY shit!!! The ceilings look to be about 5' nuttin to the joists! circa 1640 Hired hand cabin Now this is listed as a loft storage, but it spent most of its life as a home. Are you ready for its age? Circa 1300

What do they use for termites, last I heard the Alamo was about half chewed up by the critters. Maybe they have no termites in Norway, way to fucking cold.
