MY Friend, a Fiend
My friends back again
not been round for a while
he knocks on my door
and comes in with a smile,
Punching my eye
as he walks down the hall
I stop in my tracks
for fear I will fall
His strong vice like grip
is soon there at my head
I don't want this now
Do I wish I were dead?
My eye now half shut
nose running as well
head clamped in a vice
He's created a HELL
I beg him to leave
as my eye starts to run
but he won't go just yet
whilst he's having his fun
he belts me once more
and I buckle with pain
WHY NOW! WHY ME !
Again and Again.
heart rushing now
palms sweating too
He's laughing at me
cos he knows I am through
an hour ticks by
and he moves from the chair
as swiftly as he came
he is no longer there
I look out the window
and into the black
He stops,...turns, then waves
and I know he'll be back
