Several weeks ago I was talking to Jonny Moseley (Olympic ski champion) and Glen Griffin (a friend of Mayor Gavin Newsom) at a local neighborhood bar formerly owned by Gavin. We were somewhat drunk. We decided to have a ski jump competition in San Francisco.
crackup

I found several sponsors during the following couple weeks.

Last night and this morning, our contractors dumped 200 tons of snow on a steep 2-block section of a street in the elite Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco and we held a ski jump competition today, a sunny day with temps in the high 70's.

Some of the police officers were really pissed, but nobody died. Here's the latest news and some pics...

Zounds!

That is as they say "way cool."

We really could use a S. F. area convention. Probably cheaper in Oakland.
