I just seen it on the news. A busload of evacuees exploded. They said there were explosions that might have been o2 tanks blowing! Still awaiting details but from the pic of the bus, it doesn't look good. They said it has caused a grass fire as well. Talk about sheer madness!!! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9449949/

And NO is going under again Quote:Meanwhile, in New Orleans, water spilled over a patched levee Friday, cascading into one of the city's lowest-lying neighborhoods and heightening fears that Hurricane Rita would re-flood the devastated city. The National Guard said there are three significant breaches in the city. Dozens of blocks in the Ninth Ward were under water as a waterfall at least 30 feet wide poured over and through a dike that had been used to patch breaks in the Industrial Canal levee. On the street that runs parallel to the canal, the water ran waist-deep and was rising fast. "Our worst fears came true. The levee will breach if we keep on the path we are on right now, which will fill the area that was flooded earlier," said Barry Guidry with the Georgia National Guard, noting that the water was rising about three inches a minute. |

Imagine the horror of such a thing. Those poor ppl. From the news report we heard, the bus had about 45 ppl on board, bystanders tried breaking the bus windows to allow ppl out, and all that was mentioned was that 15 did manage to escape!!!!!!!!!! May God bless their souls and help us who witness this to try and manage to understand or even accept such a horrid fate. And then we have the levees in New Orleans. OH MY!!! saddened and overwhelmed, EDNA
