BATON ROUGE, La. (Sept. 16) - Louisiana officials said Friday they have taken custody of 50 children who were separated from their parents in the chaos of Hurricane Katrina.

Sally Lohrbach, right, hugs Roxie Keo, 7, while Stephanie Woleben holds Nicki Keo, 6. The two Salvation Army workers are trying to find a home for the children.

They always seem to be the ones caught in the crossfire of everything, but they can be quite resilient.  Just gotta know that people down there are taking great care of them right now until they are reunited with their families.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
