Some contractor called--Kenyon, had a government contract to go in and clean up and process bodies in New Orleans.
Oops; can't do that! We here at FEMA won't let you go in without our special training and approved safety gear. Kenyon has been doing this for only 76 years, had a 9/11 contract and was used for the same after the Tsunami. 
Turns out FEMA can't get live or dead people out of the muck.
We're in a lot of trouble..... 
(Kenyon is a big Bush supporter too. Nothing makes sense in this mess)
You'd think with that, there wouldn't be much of a problem.
(NY Times Jonny, Tuesday, I think) 
Charlie (Added. Kenyon is part of Service Corp. International which is one of those things that keep funerals expensive, I think.)

More buracratic nonsense to highlight how ineffective a massive buracracy can be. Turf wars between folks who are supposed to be on the same team and focused on accomplishing the same goals. Everyone is in charge by no-one is in charge. Truely sad.

Damn. I bought a real newspaper yesterday because the real edition site is great for this disaster story. It didn't occur to me to look at the online edition. Here it is, about 10 paragraphs in and continued on page two:
