My boyfriend Gordon asked me to marry him a couple of weeks ago and I damn near tripped over myself to scream YES!!!
On Friday he picked me up after work and announced to me that we were going to stop at the jewelry store to look at engagement rings. I was so happy I slobbered him down a bit before we got to the place  . When we arrived at the store, we looked at some rings, some pics of rings, some bands, platinum, white gold, etc…I was confused  . After I gave him some ideas, he and the owner spoke alone and he put the order in for it – so though I gave him some ideas, I still don’t know what the final product will look like…I’m so excited!  When he came back, I gave him another big sloppy kiss!!!  It’s nice to be treated like a queen!
We’re getting married within 6 months, don’t have an exact date yet. We’re probably going to be doing the City Hall move and then a private dinner at a restaurant with close friends/family. He’s also put a down payment on a townhouse close to where I live (he lives in NJ) and close to Crystal’s school.
We’re crazy about each other, Crystal and he adore each other, he’s a successful man and makes me happy in every way. Everything is great and I’m not even nervous – okay, okay…a little nervous…Vibes? 
He’s even witnessed me getting hit…and stayed. I just love that man… 
I’ve asked him to sign up as a member on the board. He’s been reading up for a few weeks now and is honestly impressed with the lot of us – as he should, of course  . He goes by G (no comments please ) or Gordo (no, he’s not fat…LOL).
I’ve already told him about some of my family here… Nani Luv – my hermana from the Boogy Down Bronx, Ladybug-my West Coast Sis, Peppermint – La Pepa from New Yawk, Bethany and Co., Helen – Evil Mary Poppins from Britain, Rex – Frenchie, Jonny – the King with the biggest heart in MA., my main man Jimi – this list can go on forever, so I’ll stop here…but I love all of you and consider you all to be my family.

Minnie, the “nature” shots will continue to be posted on Friday mornings in a very timely manner. I consider this a service to my sistahs (and myself)…of course, when I’m away or on my honeymoon (tee hee), I know any of you ladies will make me proud. I have a beauty for this Friday btw.

Now next time Randy and I come to NYC we'll be a foursome...you know he kind of liked being the thorn between two roses! But I told him all about Gordon and you and he's very excited to hang with him in NYC and when you both come over this way to visit.
