Yep, he came out of Wisconsin, and from what I've learned over the last few days, he was a pretty interesting guy. In his early years on the court, he was sort of a lone ranger. And over his long career, slowly changed the way in which cases were approached.

He used to come to my little town to speak at the Robert H. Jackson Center. Have to wonder if he was a Swede. "Quists" often are and we have about 15,000 of them here. Charlie
