Gracious Lord, We pray for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in this time of great loss and grief. May You comfort the survivors and grieving families. Allow the fear of the people to turn to trust in You, O Lord. Please direct the rescue workers and guide the hands of those who care for the homeless. We pray that aid and support would arrive on every front. May they come with hope, but also with the means to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty and provide comfort to the needy. Provide strength, courage and wisdom to those in authority. Help them make the right decisions in this time of crisis and chaos. We pray that through this tragedy, the human family would stand together in courage and hope for the victims who need You more than ever. In Your merciful name we pray, Amen. I found this one from www.dailyguideposts.com Sanna
