Stupid doctors!

Last Monday I took off early from work due to congestion, fever, cough, etc. Tuesday I did the same and went to see my doc. but he couldnt see me so I had go to another doc. He told me I had a cold and to go home and take some ni-quil, so I did. When I woke up Wednesday, I had swollen gland in my arm pit and it hurt like a mother f#cker so I called MY doc and he told me to come in asap. He checked me out, sent me for x-rays and told me I had pneumonia. Why didn't doctor dick head know I had pneumonia? I had to take the rest of the week off work, so now I have to work a bunch of 12 hr. days next week so I can pay my bills. I hate getting sick, and I hate docs. that don't care about thier patients.

I went to an urgent care center once after having chest pains for 5 days that seemed to be getting pretty bad - was up all night coughing the last night of it.
The urgent care doc told me to go home, take robitussin, get off all my meds, and go out and enjoy the nice day.
No EKG, no nothing really. Went home and slept a lot- went to my neuro the next week and he diagnosed it as costal chondritis and told me to take motrin for 6 days...I was coughing so much because of the inflammation in the ribs.
My best friend and I kept joking that you don't need your stinkin nitro - when you have chest pains, just take robitussin! 
Hope you get to feeling better very soon!! There's nothing worse than a doc who doesn't care and doesn't even take the time to really check their patients out!

You know what you do, you know what your company charges.......undercut the fuck and you will be your own boss.
Not sure if this is helpful to you, but I started two companies doing it.
Never share what you know to anyone.....Someone like me will suck your knowledge in and run with it.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I know what you mean. The infant doctors.....they all seem that way to me..... are terrified of me though and treat me better when they learn that I have not been to a ER more than once in 22 years. They know it's gotta be serious.
Looks pretty sloppy to me though. Be sure to let them know your feelings.

(Almost got confused between young doctors and my job.....)
Yeah, they're only a year or two older than me now when they're residents. It's scary really....

That's nothin to mess with.....I think docs now days are flooded with so many patients and so much patient whineing that they get immune to peoples LIGIT calls for help. Too bad it's that way tho.....there's a dedicated few tho. Our doc is pretty cool and is a internalist and takes care of my stuff and Brad's ch and seems to CARE !!! Good bad and the uncareing Pam

I like the way you think, but I don't think I can undercut one of the largest automotive clutch manufacturers in the world. I did start a welding buisiness a few years back and made some good money, but then I got an offer on the building I couldn't refuse. I still do small jobs out of my garage at home but can't do the big stuff anymore.
