Been doing alot of walking, and so I've had the phones on quite a bit lately. Plus it has been a much needed distraction....... The disc I am the most bent on the last few days is: My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge Definitely headbanging material. One of the better neo-punk bands with a harder edge. These guys are getting to be a big deal too. Deservedly so, as there isn't a bad song on the album. also been listening to: Disturbed - Believe Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power Coldplay - X & Y David Bowie - Scary Monsters Radiohead - Hail To The Thief Black Sabbath - 1st Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire Phil Keaggy - On The Fly Holst - The Planets System of A Down - Mezmerize! (musical schitzophrenia at its best ala Frank Zappa) Also really into the new Franz Ferdinand which is basically...just weird enough for me. Can't wait to see them live. What are y'all listening to?

Damn! Am I old or what? And if any of you jump on that one, I'll eat your ears off so you won't be able to listen to music ever again! I don't think I've ever heard of any of these groups except for Dave Matthews, whom I love. My music runs to anything from the 60's through the 80's, plus some classical. In my whole three mile commute to work, I usually pop my favorite tape (yes, tape not CD)(that reminds me, my tape is getting bad spots - wonder if I can get a new one) into my car and listen to "I Want Your Sex, by George Michael. | I'm still looking for an interpreter for the voices in my head. "COLD" is a great band as well. It's a shame the only song to really do anything for them thus far is "Stupid Girl." The first album and "Year of the Spider" are both great discs. Anxious for the new disc to hit the internet stores. Like I illiegally download music. That would be morally wrong. Peace, Carl D
