Story behind my user name

Everytime I post in a forum with a user name containing the number 69, people wonder what it's connotation is, so heres the story behind it. I'm a volunteer firefighter/emt, the mcf is the initials of the department I belong to, thats the boring part. When you first join, you are assigned an identification number and a set of tags with that number on them, 69 just happened to be the first set of matching tags that they pulled from a box. One tag goes on a board inside the first engine at a fire so the person in charge knows you're there. The second is left at the door with a safety officer so they know if you're in the building if things go to hell and they need to figure out who's out and who's not. I've always imagined a scenario that goes like this: I'm in a burning building and suddenly the whole place collapses, I'm the only one who doesn't make it out. The safety officer goes to the chief and hands him my tag, telling him everyone made it out except 69. The chief gets a panicked look on his face and says, "69, oh no, not 69, what are we going to do without 69, I can't live without 69!!!!!!!" Someone speaks up and says, "chief, 69 is Ben" The chief immediately calms down and says, "oh, yeah.....Ben (tossing the tag over his shoulder), well, lets go back to the station and order pizza" So thats the story behind the number for all those wondering what it means, I know it's boring, but hey, some of you were probably thinking something else

I've often wondered about the meaning/reason/cause of some of the names used here. Probably some stories we really don't want to hear. Yesterday we had a dukfoot enter the site. dukfoot????????

Here in Oz we tend to refer to Harleys as kelpies, a variety of sheep and cattle dog. That's 'cos they spend so much time in the back of the truck.

NO MATTERA what kind of bike ya ride........you'll never get a better feeling then a Harley between yer legs.......with all problems and vibrations and noise aside......that IS a proven fact. Brad keeps our old ones maintained cuz he is a mechanic and a blacksmith....so he can make what he breaks in some degree or figure out how to fix it himself. Has a freind do summa the motor work (machine work)....both ours are stroked out and got hidden power. Sleeping giantes Pam Kelpies......sounds like somethin ya use to catch big fish....... Enjoy yer 'Hardly Davidson's'.......bikes are bikes.....jus be safe at it !!!!
