Recently got our first laptop and I was screwing around in the Control Panel and for whatever reason I disabled the touch pad...I know, I know, duh me. So can anyone tell me how to enable it w/out having access to the pointer? I can't even log on without it. Jim

Yeah, on your keyboard you should have a WINDOWS icon on the bottom left. If you click on it, you can reopen the control panel. Using the arrow keys, you should be able to navigate and reactivate the mouse pad. Solution#2: Plug in a mouse and fix the problem. Did that help?
