$2.33 for a gallon of regular gas here today. up 50% from 2 years ago. well, the high prices are accelerating the acceptance of alternative-powered cars.... the oil producers need to enjoy and milk the remaining period of gas consumption.... Having an oilman for president isn't hurting the oil industry either.... (Just look at the recently signed energy bill)

I just filled up at $2.25 in Greensboro, NC last Saturday. I was totally pissed about the price, but now I don't feel so bad.

| 1 Litre is 2.1 US pints and here we pay about 1 US dollar per Litre, that is about R6.90c in Rand (South African) or 23500Mt in Meticals (Mozambique). So roughly, 1 gallon is 5 Litres, so we pay about 5 US dollars per gallon!

1 litre is about 33.8 ounces......very close to a quart. So there are about 4 litres to a gallon. Those saudi terrorists are getting even richer. Its not enough that they are the richest fuckers in the world, now they are getting even richer. Gasoline up 100%in 5 years, natural gas up 35%, electricity up 42%, health insurance up 16% this year, 100% in 3 years, food up 7.5% in 1 year, housing up 15% per year for the last few years. Anyone know how much the national average is up for household income? Anyone know how much average hourly earnings are up? In 2004 it was 3% in my metro area. BMonee Whats that saying? the rich get what? and the poor get what?
