Getting new bling-bling!

Well, kinda. Going to the dentist tomorrow to talk about getting braces - that's kinda bling-bling - they are metal and shiny! I've wanted to get my teeth fixed since I was about 14! My parents couldn't afford them and Chris would never let me get them because they cost too much but now he is gone and it's MY money! Plus my dental insurance actually pays $1250 toward adult orthodontics! YIPPEE! Karen

Good for you! Have you looked into the InvisaLine thingies? They cost a lot more but are hard to see and you can take them out when they hurt too much. I had my upper teeth straightened many years ago. They weren't too bad and I only had a retainer and rubber bands. The good part was when I couldn't stand the strain on my teeth during a cluster attack I could take the retainer out for a little while (like half a day).

And here I thought you were going to say a new car or diamond ring... Good braces are good too though, especially if covered by insurance... Langa

Good for you Karen (although I have to say I didn't notice you having wonky teeth!) You've been going through quite a bit of self improvement this year haven't you? Starting with that humongous arsehole removal.... its almost like watching extreme makeover on the telly You just be happy! You owe it to yourself okay? Oh.. and give my love to Chris, Colin and Ellen!

My wife, who's 27, just got braces last month. I think she's really glad she got them. I'm sure you will too.

They make all kinds of nifty (bling-bling) braces these days. Make sure you get some that are really neat so ya' can tell everyone they're tooth jewelry. People will buy just about anything these days, You'll start a new fashon trend. Work a discount deal with your Ortghodontist Good Luck Tom

Would the owner of the propane torch, egg beater, pipe expander and vise grips please claim these items. They're lodged in my head and I need the space.

You need the gold plated ones with diamond accents, then you can walk around rhyming obscenities, grabbing your crotch and wearing clothes 3 sizes to big. It's the new fad. Oh, one more thing, you need a gold cup for your crunk juice, whatever the hell that is. Country Bumpkin Ryan
