Have someone scard the crap out of you. I been in cycle for a month now no meds except Melatone and Kudzu. Its been a hard cycle so far. I use the shower to help take the pain down and some time abort one. Last Night I couldn't get the pain to go down so I walked the yard. I walked up on the back deck. There was a mail box we put there, one of those apartment mail boxes. Where anyone who came by while we were gone could leave a note. I am always home so I never check it. Well something made me lift up the top. I had the porch like on and I could see something move and you know how snake skin looks afters its shead well thats what it looked like. I slammed the top shut. Scard me to death. Dumb ass me well I said no that couldn't be a snake. So I opened it again and it was just as bad. It was the biggest wasp nest I had ever encountered. Again I slamed it shut ran in the house and got the wasp spray and sprayed the heck out of them. I am highly allergit to bees. After I had killed the bees I noticed my cluster was gone ! There is something to being scard out of pain !

Ever think it was the senseless murder of countless wasps who were just minding their own business that satisfied the beast? Honestly, I'm glad to hear the you didn't get stung sounds like it could have been trouble for you. Tom

That would do it Elaine. A sense of survival takes over but damn, you're not exactly one to run away..... This musta been something. Looks worth it to me. We'll all take turns and try to scare the bejezzus out of you if you like. Charlie

Would that go along the lines of mind over matter.....well you know what I mean......."sumthing" that instantly over rule'd the attack or the pain. At least we know it wasn't the bee spray Pam

That was brave of you, Elaine! I would never go near wasp nest volunteerily and I'm not allergic of them. No wonder the beast took a hike! It noticed the winner.

| DITTO!!! We had a white anglo-saxon protestent nest in the corner of our bedroom window and you could see those little fu*#ers through the window and it was the creepiest thing I have ever seen. My husband, God Bless Him, stuck the wasp spray up into the cracks between the two windows and they went a flyin' and those baby wasps still in their little protective homes came bubbling out of their little holes *shudder* I can't even tell you anymore I'm creepin myself out.

I discovered that after I was getting hit with a kip 10. Ted was driving I was rocking. Then bam, a car in the lane next to us was stopped and signaling to turn left as soon as we drove by. Well a drunk driver didn't see the car stopped in the road and rear ended it going 65. We were the first ones on the scene of the accident. The doors were jammed shut. We shut the car off and prayed it wouldn't blow up or start on fire. There were 2 people in the car we started praying with them cause they had there windows down and could hear us. We wanted to comfort them and encourage them and give them faith that it would be ok. The driver had a bad head injury. My ch was instantly gone. Latter I got a phone call from the kids Dad and said thank you for praying for them during the accident. They had just come from a church function and had dropped off 3 kids in the backseat that was now none existant. Anyway I agree with your theory.

I wonder if asthma medicine helps anyone to abort cluster headaches? Epinephrine in the inhaler (like Priamatine) is basically instant adrenaline... I'll have to experiment next round! Take care, Rich

I think what made me kill them wasn't so much me, as the fact that JD had been hanging over the deck rail right there that morning and I did not want him getting stung. Buddy would have done it but I figured it being in the middle of the night I could do it. Plus I knew spray fast and shut the lid and run LMAO! Thats why God gave me these long legs. Had it been a snake believe me it would still be there, I would have to hire someone to get it out. Really I do think there is something to being scard that can abort a cluster. Last night I slept all night. I needed the rest, I was wore slap out. We are going camping this week end its only about 30 miles from here. I will be coming home at night and sleeping just incase I get hit. Plus I have to check on my animals. Thats the excuse I am using ! I still plan to have fun durning the day. I got the camper all ready. Boy are we real campers, hmmm Mirowave, Refegator, Lights, air conditions. They will all be swimming and I will be relaxing Buddy said I shouldn't come home just take a walk at night at the park and maybe I would walk up on something that would scare me. NOT LOL

| RIGHT! Like a Grizzly bear or something equally as deadly. (uh...wait. maybe y'all don't have those things there and I am thinking like a Pacific person) O.K. then qualified to add.....alligator/Crocodile/snake/lizard/iguana etc. Go home to sleep E....and then go to the campground to relax in a hammock or something. A grizzly attacking me while I'm in the middle of a Kip-8? Oh man... I'd kick his ass so bad, he wouldn't be able to get away fast enough, and would run home crying, "yark! yark! yark! yark!!"
