It's what happens when it becomes corporate. There is very little competition today. Things like "Cops" and other reality programming is incredibly cheap to produce and I guess really sells iffy drugs and bathroom cleaners.
Right, the party once running on watching the pursestrings spent more than 50 million dollars ranting at Bill Clinton and pulpit pounding its way into the hearts of the Christian right.
