Looking For A Book (Sci-Fi?)

I'm looking for a book that I read back in the mid-70's. I don't remember the author or the title, but the story had a very dreamy quality to it, and it was about a team of entymologists who traveled to Venus to catch a certain type of butterfly... It was really a haunting story, and I would love to read it again. Anyone?

When I read the title of the thread, my first thought was, "The Dr. Suess books are in the kids section." Grin

It's sounds familiar to me too. Certianly Pamela Sargent.

I'm looking into SF for the first time in years. I subscribed to all kinds of fan crap. A real gafiate.
