Only a few months. My GP told me I had "classic cluster headaches. They are rare and kind of a bear to treat." Bear my ASS! More of a dragon!

A friend found this site for me, and later that day I logged on and left my first post.
I have to add; when I first found this site, I went straight to my brothers house and showed the site to my sis in law. As she read posts, she started crying and said "I always thought you were exaggerrating how bad these are. If I didn't know any better, I would have thouht you wrote all of those posts yourself."
I have to admit, it was exilharating to find out I was not alone, but it was MEGA EERIE to read the very words I had said for years posted by total strangers.

I really didn't care about sharing my story with a bunch of strangers on the internet about what I had lived with so long with no one but me who understood.
How long, after you found this site, was it until you posted to the message board? About 3 weeks. (Spent all of that time reading in rapt amazement it was surreal to read people describing what was going on in my head to a tee.)

I found it about a week before the diagnosis was confirmed, but the GP had mentioned it along with other possibilities, so I did a search.

Never posted to guest book. I read alot of it while waiting for the confirmation.

About a week. Again, I waited to post anything untill the Dx was confirmed.
