one pretty laid back dude. Then doctors tell me i must have some psychological/mental problem? Thank god we moved into the 21st century. At first these gutless CH could only get me while i was asleep but to their credit the little demons/beasts did attack in broad daylight.

Have not had a CH for about 3 years and am finding that Methysergide works for me, even though for the first few days on it I feel like Roboman with electrodes attached to my legs.

Good luck everyone!

Why any of us???

I am very sorry to hear you are back in cycle, but glad to know you've found something that works for you (Sansert).  You might want to do some reading up in the Medications/Treatments section of the site to see what's new.

I am due to go into cycle at any time now (I get them every other year) and have been shadowing in the a.m. the past couple mornings.  It really sucks they come back, but I play the hand I was dealt and try not to complain.

I hope your cycle is a very short one!

take care,
mel

Be careful with that drug. There is a time limit on how long you can take it. (But, I can't remember how long right now). After taking it for a while you have to stop for a while, otherwise it'll eat your liver.

Good luck.

No attack in 3 years? You shoud be  Cheesy not  Undecided millsy!
Grats to you on finding a nice helper.

I hope it is another 100 years before you get another attack. That should cover your lifetime, if you need a few more years though let me know.  Smiley

Sorry Melissa, I hope the shadow doesn't know and it's not going to come on. Hang tough!

Edit: After reading Bob I will have to say that is a  Undecided after all for millsy. *sigh*

Topical, you can put a  Smiley back on. Sansert is not that bad. I took it, as a matter of fact it is the only drug I have ever taken for clusters. It worked for me, mostly, and I had no side effects.
Just because it has been banned in the USA doesn't make it all bad. Smiley

From webMD site:
Methysergide has caused abnormal thickening of heart valves and of the lining of the lungs or abdomen when this medication was used for extended periods. Therefore, methysergide should be used only when the headaches occur often or are severe. Patients must be under close medical supervision

Welcome aboard and I'm sorry you've had to deal with this horror. Three years off is great and another couple of PF centuries to you.

I can't talk much about drugs as mine have been gone for many years and some of them weren't being used.

I'm glad you posted though because there is a ton of information here.

Stick around.
