A few parting thoughts.....

I sit here in the business center awaiting my ride to the airport to catch the flight back home. The weekend has seemed to have passed by in a flash. Last year I was in awe with convention and the people just to see face to face and in person that I was not the only one to deal with this demon. This year, with all the details needing to be attended to, I wasn't able to touch base with everyone I wanted to. For this I'm sorry. Watching everyone laugh, and joke and hug and cry, this is what this family is about. Each and every member, if they had come to Dallas or not, mean the world to me. Blossom, I'm glad I was able to be there for you when you needed it. Thats what this family is for. Next year I may need the favor returned. Met Linda, DJ's Mom for the first time this weekend and over luch she was telling us some of her story's. She is a wonderful, warm, and generous hearted woman. We all talk about how if it weren't for DJ none of us would be here, but if it wasn't for Linda, we wouldn't have DJ. Linda thank you as well. It'll be a day or three before I'll get to posting the pics I took, for some reason DJ's memory card reader wouldn't read my card. As much as I want to get home and hug my kids, and thank them again for being such wonderful supporters, it's so hard to watch as one of the family leaves, and the hugs and the tears are of both joy and grief. The words on this board never can or will express the love that is at the heart and soul of this family. It's more than just the words we say, it's more than just the touch of a hand. The bond that is the life blood of this group of fabulous people is the energy as you walk into a room of virtual strangers, and you feel as though you've known them all forever. I Love you all...... Pegg

| You know I can't EVER thank you enough and it was so wonderful to meet you. I will ALWAYS remember what you did for me and for my sister. The look on her face killed me but you hugging her and talking to her helped her in a way you will never know. I hope to God I don't have to return the favor next year, but I will be right there if it happens! You are an amazing woman, Pegg! Karen
