Thought I would bore you all a little with cootie thoughts of logic........was upstairs roundin up some things for this weekends campout party were in charge of and thinkin about what is goin on in London at the same time.....deep thoughts.......someone pulled into the driveway. I looked out the window and it was a small van FULL of people. Big black lady ran out carryin a bottle of soap and about 6 bald black guys with matching white dress shirts and dress pants jump out in sync and start to open van side doors and back doors. I have NOTHING against blacks (I have black freinds and we ride with alot and one is a deputy sheriff so DON'T go there).....overwhelming site when yer by yourself. Looked like the HOOD had arrived by the looks of em all !! Wasn't sure what was next.....the lady kept knocking but THANK GOD I had the front screen door "locked" cuz I think she was goin to try to come in !!!! The guys were all standing around 'waiting'......I felt sorta trapped and felt some of the guys were possibly tryin the side door I had left slightly open and unlocked !!! I sat on teh stairs watching the lady knowing if you jiggle the front screen it will open and unlock easily. I was almost ready to SHOOT from the stairs if that lady stepped foot in this house. I was thinking WAR.....I was feeling invaded and corner'd. I think I almost did something stupid. I was sort of scared cuz of how so many of them rushed around standing ready to RUSH into my house with sweepers and crap before I could say NO "if" I had open'd that door. I know that's what they were going to do......rush in to get past me to push there product. They have tried here before but was only two people. Anyone ever feel that threaten'd in there own space ? Or was I over reacting ? I'm by myself alot with Brad's work and family obligations afterwards and things he has to do till he can head home. I don't like the feeling I had today.....I don't like how I felt at all. Thanks for listening.....sort of a stupid cootie vent fear factor. I'll get over it. Warpath'd Pam

Know what you mean, we do not live in the best neighborhood in the city, so been there done that.
I am about 6 ft, 200 something, and I get nervous when they go rampaging around my neighborhood too.
I have Mace, 4 huge dogs that eat everything, and No Trespassing & Beware of Dog signs everywhere, and they still try to come to my door. I still call the POLICE when they act up or will not leave, and the POLICE will arrest them if your property is posted (No Trespassing).
Florida just passed a law that if you feel your life is in DANGER, inside or outside, you can shoot first ask questions later. JUSTIFIED HOMICIDE.

Yeah it was Kirby 'again' only this time they had a rush inside plan which is a bit on the scarey side when ya think about it. Them guys all jumped outa that van like a chinese fire drill and was all standing there WAITING for someone to open that door and then run at it with all that stuff in there hands. Last time they were REAL pushy and Brad told them to leave.....the lady argued sayin she HAD to come in and show us the product. Brad caught her opening the door when he pulled in on his bike and I heard him comeing so didn't bother with the door KNOWING they were pressure sales people he'd deal with nicley. He got pissed when she argued.....was only the two of em then. Shadey lookin bunch....and what about the elderly people in my area that go to the door they rush and scam. This shit takes high pressure sales to a new level tho.....they are purposely invadeing your home !!!! Really gave me the willies and some bad thoughts about it all. I have a dog kennel so all were goin nuts but my insurence will not allow most intimidateing large breeds....and I have a no solicitors sign on the front fence which has NEVER stopped any of these jerks. Had some run away kid stop here few weeks ago wanting a drink and Brad caught him stealin stuff (small stuff) in the garage where he was. Brad told him to leave.....he wanted cigs and he wanted a ride then too. Yeah wouldn't that open yerself up to some grief lettin a 15 year old problem punk that supposidly has run away in yer vehicle and dump em off somewhere. Got a boys village up the road and he prolly escaped from there.....lots of bad boys up there. People are startin to really get on my nerves.....were out in the boonies too. Traffic has picked up cuz of the new Walmart plaza 7 miles away and farm land bein lotted out. Next I expect the Jehova Witness cuz there due......got a party were puttin on this weekend and gotta work and hardly no one will help and I hear the young people there (the guy ownin the property has regular band jam parties and most there will be his usual group) scream and hoot and yell ALL NITE LONG and get obnoxiously drunk !!! I am lookin forward to the good time but am afraid I am goin to SNAP ! I'll be wearin boots......look out ! I'll stay off yer ass if ya stay outa mine Pam

But I ain't the only one in this back woods neighborhood gettin invaded by "The Kirby sales gang"........and that wierdo that bought the dog backed off when I told him to have his vet send the exrays to mine. Apparently he never really had em done in the first place.....his vet guessed the dog had a broken bone but also admitted that little bump "he felt" could also jus be an add shaped bone...which told me rite then and there there were NO exrays taken or he'd not of said that. He was tryin to get the max of what treatment would cost IF it was fractured which he didn't do here cuz he wasn't lame. Then he was probly goin to have the dog fixed also cuz that was a priority and he did mention the vet would not touch the dog without a deposite for what was needed. He was scammin me.......hopein I'd feel bad. Dam'd and scam'd Pam

Just had some PUNKS pull in the driveway a bit ago all the way up to the house with there lights off (short driveway here too)......they seen Brad look out the window and the dogs bark and TOOK OFF. Not sure what that was all about......or what the plan was but I have alot of lights on ALL THE TIME around this house and all around it. And lights were on inside and tv's......hopein they got the wrong driveway......and no plan to do somethin BAD. This country nieghborhood is goin to hell in a smuck bucket Pam

It seems to have worked..not a salesman in the last 2 years since I put it up. By the way.. I dont own a Rottie..lol, just a Portugese Water Spaniel who would only lick you to death!

Man that kind of stuff scares the stuff out of me. i would have gone up into my bedroom closet dropped to my knees in hidding and started praying after i grabbed the cordless phone and dialed 911. So sorry you are going through all this stress.
