my nephew in law Army Sgt.Christopher M.Pusateri  who was killed in action on Feb.16th  in Iraq would have been 22 on the 4th of July  Cry   Rest in peace Christopher and please keep my niece Christine in your thoughts and prayers.the following is a repost of mine from febuary 26th.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to thank all the "family " on here who wrote condolences and sent vibes for my family.Today we laid to rest my nephew Christopher one of the hardest days of our life .As written in an earlier post  Chris died in the line of duty in Iraq on February 16.He married my Niece 2 years ago on valentines day.
My niece Christine is holding up as well as can be expected under the circumstances. She has to go back to Fort Bragg in a couple of days to finish paperwork and then she will be here home with us to try to begin healing and planning the rest of her life.twenty is just too young to be a widow.
I have always had a deep respect for the military but though this week it has deepened. There was so many people there to help Christine with the mountains of paperwork and decisions. The military wives her stayed by her side ,brought food and held her hand as she cried.Christopher's best friend flew in from Iraq and will
take some much needed time of to recuperate from the second death of a friend.he started out at bootcamp w/Chris and being from nearby hometowns shared alot.he is an inspiration and I will continue to pray for him as he continues his military career.three other men that were in his unit but now at home stayed at my sisters house to keep an eye on Christine.Last but not least the soldiers from the 1st division airborne fort Bragg NC.They stood guard 2 at a time for 1/2 hour intervals.Proud ,Brave and patriotic are just a few of the words I can think of to describe them.I honestly did not realize the body would be guarded the whole time.I know they will be replacing Christopher's unit in Iraq soon,God Bless them and bring them home safe.
One last thing to my 3 guardian angels, friends from here.Cat and Clarke for all your help getting Christine help and answering our unending questions.thank you so much letting me cry on your shoulder .Leesa, my dear sweet sister and my best friend from this board. You are ALWAYS there and I thank god for bringing you,Dave and the boys into our Lives. You are truly my guardian angel. It is a great comfort knowing your a phone call away. Please always remember it goes two ways I am always here for you.
Thank you for listening to me ramble my heart is broken but very proud of Christopher and Christine. One request please try not to turn this thread political.I am just one very proud American today.

Minnie, I hope Christine has kept up to date on the changes to the death benefit and SGLI.  I hope she is holding up ok and so are you and the girls.  He's a hero in my books.  A huge thank you and debt of gratitude for his sacrifice.  Did you get the paper yet?  I didn't realize that the timing would be so close to his birthday.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

My Prayers and thoughts are with you & your family.

I have a Brother-in-Law & a 18yr old Nephew, both in IRAQ. The Brother-in-law has been over there for 16months this tour  and his 5th tour of duty there, my Nephew just went over last month from boot camp.

Even if people are not for the Military Operations going on around the World, they should still pray daily for the SAFTY of all the Troops and their Families..

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS....

Again, GOD BLESS you & your Family..
