It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

And for goodness sakes don't plan on spending the FOURTH of JULY in England. Been there, done that -- they really weren't very nice about our independence -- BBC still refers to us as the colonies... Got really pissed when I asked where the firecrackers were being sold........ Another "UGLY AMERICAN" heard from... Hugs BD

| Let's see... just finished, safety awareness, a shot, obligatory engagement, guess what, British lost again. Hmmm You just finished a talk about condoms, went home had a shot to drink because you're obliged to get engaged, I'll guess because you're pregnant, and then you lost your Jaguar again somewhere. oh wait, I'm thinking about your thrill on Blueberry Hill. We're safe again for another year from left side driving, way to go Don! Kevin M

he victory won by the British at Bunker Hill3 was a costly one. They lost in killed and wounded 1054 men, one tenth of whom were officers. Pitcairn was among the dead. Howe was wounded in the foot. The victory enabled the English to hold Boston for nine months longer, but the moral effect lay wholly with the Americans, whose loss was 449. At Bunker Hill they had discovered their own prowess, their ability to stand before the regulars; and Bunker Hill became a rallying cry of the patriots in every contest of the war.

They eventually took the hill but it weren't easy. It was this battle that established just what the Brits were up against. We physically lost the hill but morally deflated the Bits. They were never quite the same. They needed a lot of prednisone.

Did you ever see The Bunker Hill show?...that dude was funny Bunker Hill was a battle of the American Revolutionary War that took place on June 17, 1775 during the Siege of Boston. Although it is known as Bunker Hill, most of the action was on Breed's Hill. British forces under General Howe drove the American militia from fortified positions on Breed's Hill and Bunker Hill. The battle was a Pyrrhic victory for Howe. His immediate objective was achieved, but the attack demonstrated the American will to stand in pitched battle, caused substantial British casualties, and did not change the status of the siege. After the battle, British General Henry Clinton remarked in his diary that "....another such victory and we are utterly undone." The Americans had lost all fire discipline. In traditional battles of the 18th century, companies of men fired, reloaded, and moved on specific orders, as they had been trained. After their initial volley, the Americans all fought as individuals, and every man fired as quickly as he could reload and find a target. The British withdrew almost to their original positions on the peninsula to regroup. Hee Hee Hee http://www.boston.com/news/traffic/bigdig/special/galleries/bridge/12.ht m
