My parents are Canadian, but 2 of my grandparents (one on each side) are Scottish. Which should I blame for me being so friggin' stubborn?

I think he means our staff, Broomie.  He wants us to tell him that "our people" are stubborn.

Actually, the receptionist here reports to me.  So I guess that makes her my staff, or "my people".  She's a really nice lady, actually.  I don't think she's stubborn at all.

But then again, I'm not the expert on Canadians or Scots that Seasonal apparently considers himself to be, so I could be wrong here.....

Just trying to bring a little levity. . . What with being told to "look away" over on that other thread, and all the nastiness....

And your response,  is just what I thought it would be, stubborn all the way.  laugh

okay broomie, I've erred, based on your input I believe my Canadian heritage must be linked to me being a little too sensitive. And I guess the Scot's can take credit for the stubborn side.  Shocked Shocked

Broomie, I think it's kinda cute how he hangs on every word in every post by a Canadian, don't you?

I think he's a Canadian wannabe.  Should we make him up a special batch of poutine?  Or maybe just send him a Timmy's coupon and thank him for playing?  Better yet, maybe we should him how to lick a metal gate at 40 below. I mean, the right way.  Wink

Oh that's all fine and well. I actually think in a pinch I could run over the border and y'all will give me joint citizenship anyway. But I still haven't heard anyone admit it. That while you give the outward appearance of being peaceloving liberal people, that you're actually stubborn. Admit it and I'll go on my way.

Doesn't sound very moderate or middle of the road of you.  Sounds like you have a very irrational hatred or is it fear of all things Canandian.  What's the matter the wife wont let you use the whip?

Well at least I got them off that nasty ass thread for a few minutes.

Thomas, that's drivel you just posted. What does it mean? What does one have to do with other? Where are you coming from? What do you mean moderate/middle of the road?

I grew up in MI which is exactly moderate/middle of the road on this subject.

oh yeah, you're a real hero, aren't you?  Yep, you certainly got "them" sidetracked.  The reason I put the disclaimer there, Scott, was because it IS just between me and Flash, and I didn't want to see a resulting dogpile.

So are you practicing to be a politician now?  Instead of solving a crisis, you divert attention away from it by authoring a new problem.
