With my beloved Flyers out of action...due to the strike. I've suddenly become very interested in the ECHL.

Been rooting for the Trenton Titans since the season started and they won the ECHL's Kelly Cup last night.headbanger

Congratulations Titan's . Way to go.

Jimmy,

Have you read today about a possible new league?

International Hockey Association, founded by Rudy Giuliana and Marcus Strong.

The NHL continues to be in denial that for much of the U.S., watching hockey is on the same level as watching soccer, rugby, cricket, or log rolling. This coming from someone who grew up in Detroit, continues to play the game into my 40's and has referee'd the game for a number of years. Not everyone has to like hockey --- but everyone does have to like hockey for the players to make the money they're making. That's the gap that needs to be recognized and acknowledged.

Bettman has to go and the game needs to go back to its core base of fans. He's diddled with the game enough in attempts to make it appeal to more people and it doesn't work.

Renee,

This is the 1st time I've heard of this...LOL. They've gotta come to a agreement soon. If this Hockey strike kills the next season...it's gonna take a long time for professional hockey to rebound. It may even kill it. Cry

Hoping you get some painfree time soon.
