Anyone else watching their concert tonight? Love their music, but it's a little daunting to watch aging rockers

| When Joe walsh sings a song on a radio show that Don wrote and it holds up a reunion tour for two years....they all ought to be shot for being more important than they think they are. I like the music, but give me a break!

I saw Don Henley in concert at Tokyo Dome, some years ago. He was fantastic!! He played all of the old Eagles stuff, along with a bunch of his solo stuff from the "Building The Perfect Beast," album. Fantastic performer...

I have been a BIG fan of the Eagles since they began, and I agree, last night they were as "tight" as they ever have been. Henley's voice has never been better, and Walsh's preformance was magic.

On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my last hair Warm smell of my Depends Rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy, and my sight grew dim Cos of my cataracts and failing sight There she stood in the doorway I heard the dinner bell And I was thinking to myself This could be veal night and that's really swell! Then she brought up a wheelchair And she rolled me away There were voices down the corridor I thought I heard them say Welcome to the Hotel Geriatric Such a lovely place Such a lovely place (background) Such a wrinkly face Plenty of room at the Hotel Geriatric Any time of year Any time of year (background) You can find it here (But you can't have beer) Her mind is Alzheimer's twisted She's got the brand new Depends She's got a lot of grumbly wrinkly boys That she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard Ain't broke their hips yet Some dance to remember Some dance to forget So I called up the Orderly and said Please bring me my wine He said We'll just boost your medication 'til you're feelin' fine. And still those voices are calling from inside my head Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to be sure you're not dead Welcome to the Hotel Geriatric Such a lovely Place Such a lovely Place (background) Such a wrinkly face They're livin' it up at the Hotel Geriatric! Blue Rinse surprise Mystery meat surprise (background) Bring your argyle ties! Restraints on the ceiling Pink jello on ice And she said We are all just old farts here With our dental advice And in the chief nurse's chambers They gathered for the feast They gum it with their dentures But they just can't chew the beast Last thing I remember I was running for the door I had to find the passage back to the place I was before Senile said the nightman We are programed to recieve You can check out any time you like But you can never leave Thank you. Thank you very much.
