Graduation present from Dave - our trip to OC!

So for my graduation from nursing school, Dave and I had a fun packed couple of days!  First, we went to dinner at Dolce Restaurant in Philly, and then we headed down to Ocean City, New Jersey.

Yesterday, we were at the beach for quite awhile...then we went back to go swimming in the pool.  Then we went to the boardwalk for the rest of the night.  Best part on the boardwalk was our mini golf game....(and I won...my father would be proud Wink

So here's the link to the pics if you want to see them!
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lizzie52004/album?.dir=/ea3f&.src=ph

If ya view them in the slideshow version...you can read all the captions I wrote - or else click on them one by one.  Either way! Wink

I couldn't agree more! Wink

It was nice to take a trip after all the craziness with finishing school and prior to the surgery this week.

Plus...I love the beach!  I'd like to get married someday on the beach. Smiley

Nice pics, Carrie.  Looks like y'all had a much deserved good time.  I notice Dave is wearing what looks to be a ch.com bracelet, but wait...what's this?  Where's yours?  LOL

Congrats on your graduation and vibes for your pending surgery.

LMAO Very astute observation!!  Dave does have one - as do both my parents and brother.  I have one, and I was wearing it around the clock - but when I graduated, I had a specific bracelet that I wear to match a necklace....well it went with the suit I wore the day before graduation.

See the bracelet on my right wrist in the pics?  That's actually my medic-alert bracelet - but the emblem is under my wrist.  Can't miss it if you see my hand, but it's not in the pics.  I always wear the CH.com bracelet on that wrist, too.  Anyways...I had to take both off for graduation, but I had the medic alert one in my camera case, and I put it right back on as soon as I changed.  The CH.com one is in my other bag.

Plus - I didn't want a wristband style tan/burn line!!  Dave probably has one, but my bracelet didn't create one! hehehe

I'll go put it on before I go to Philly for my sleep study results today because the sleep study director is a clusterhead who hasn't had any attacks in about 10 years. Smiley

Jimmy....we're a Stone Harbor crowd, these days!  Our first trip "down the shore" was really more UP the shore to Lavalette (sp?)...yucky.

Then we used to stay in OC/Somers Point for several years.

But the past few years we've been going down to Stone Harbor.

My parents have a place rented there for the week after July 4th....whatever week it is, it overlaps with the convention.

Anyhow...Ocean City, NJ is a straight shot (just about) from Philly so it's great for the shorter trips!!  Next time we go, we want to hit up Atlantic City, too. Smiley

First, in about 12 days...I'm hitting up Sarasota, Florida to stay with my grandparents for awhile and sometime during that trip, we may take a day trip (via boat) down to Key West.

I'm definately a beach bum!   Cool

I'm a bit of a beach bum, too. Can' wait for the summers. If it's just a day trip I usually head over to Seaside Heights. A lot closer and more of a younger, party atmosphere  Cool

Remember...no matter which way you travel to the shore...your always "Going down to the Shore." Even when you get there your still "Down the Shore". Grin

Enjoy & say hi to dave. He looks like a great guy.
