There is a paypal button at the bottom of the index page here.
Many here have donated to DJ to keep this site up and running.
What many of you newcomers may not know is that DJ started this site all on his own. HE pays for us to talk, laugh, educate each other& commiserate out of his own pocket. Each and every month.
DJ isn't wealthy. Neither are any of us.
If you can only send 5, 10 or 5000.00 do so.

I know you're kidding here(you are right??????????) so I will explain what the differance is:
DJ allows us to vent and post pics of deceased animals/weddings/graduations/posts/pics of hostas/Vigs pictures/births/grandchildren/etc ad infinautim(SP)
All I'm saying is that HE, (DJ) pays for all of this out of his own pocket. AND, if I might add is a mite more tolerant than I would be if I was him. Thank GOD I am not.

Think about those sites out there that promise information if you become a paid member or that make you pay for each article you read whether the information in it helps you or not. This website is many times better than any one of them on the sheer volume of information alone, but we get more than info here. We get support and understanding and concern. We get people who will call us up from down the street or halfway around the world just to say "Hang in there. You're not alone." In short, we get family.
How much is the gift of understanding and acceptance, the gift of familly worth? What price tag can you put on information that eases peoples' suffering?
DJ could easily make this a pay site and it would be worth it, but he chooses not to. He runs it out of his own pocket and the goodness of his heart. I think he deserves some help from those who have benefitted from his generosity.

I knew there were probably a LOT of people here who didn't know that DJ pays for all of this out of his own pocket, which is why I started this.
I didn't mean to come off as a hard-ass about it though. I'm sorry if it sounded like that.
