It's funny, Beth...I thought of asking this very same question a few months ago. Being as how we all get ranting when it comes to politics...I wanted to see where everyone was on this issue.
I'm still not quite sure where I stand on the issue...but you have to remember the issue is not whether to allow Stem Cell Research (It's very much allowed and legal), but whether to allow Federal Funding of Stem Cell Research. Also the embryos used are at the earliest stages of life...only a few cells. Probably comparable to being a week or so pregnant.
I don't know....tough question...but I quess if the embryos are available ...and they have such possibilities of curing some horrible afflictions...well then yeah... Maybe...like I said before...tough question.
