Paul,
I went to the races Saturday night and tried my hardest to get one of those cool race track pics like you post.
This is the best I could come up with. PhotoStitch mad it look like there was a fifth turn at the track. I'm actually sitting on the straight away but it looks like one of those trioval turns.

My partner screwed up and made it to short, so he had to add a piece....LOL
