Jughead to Jarhead

About 8:00 this evening Sgt. Rugio of the Marine Corps picked up my son Robert for the trip to basic training in San Diego. He just finished his first year of college and plans to serve in the reserves while finishing college and taking the Platoon Leadership Course in the summers. This is the first step in a long time dream for him, and I for one couldn't be prouder of him. Those of you who pray, I would appreciate your remembering him along with all of our others in the services. Semper Fi Jerry
