Firefox has been updated to 1.0.4 to patch security holes found on 5/7/2005. Get your updated version HERE, or use the update utility. Unfortunately, a full download will be needed to patch until the 1.1 version is released. Here is a list of patched and unpatched vulnerabilities for Firefox, and IE6. Opus/Paul

Paul Just got the automatic up-date. Even though I had to abandon Linux (Suse 9.1) due to it being inadequate in some areas (it is not up to par yet) I am still using everything that Mozilla can make compatible with Windows, including Thunderbird. If you come down to Texas for the convention, maybe you could spend a few hours with us in Belton (we could set up a Suse 9.1 system if you think that you can tweek it enough where it will actually do what I want it to do) If not we'll see you at the convention. Hey Marty, Good to see you here. I would love to help you out but we will have to see. In the mean time let me know what your problems were and there may be an easy solution. You can also dual boot an enjoy the "Best of both worlds". SUSE is great for an office environment but trying to keep chat clients up to date, and installing media players that will play anything can run you into dependency hell. I switched to Ubuntu from SUSE to suite my needs better. There are so many choices that there is probably a better fit for your needs. Opus/Paul

SuSE Pro 9.3 is more media friendly. I believe it'll even play DVDs and mp3s after you install the media extension packages from the update servers. Personally, I use MPlayer for video files, which can be downloaded from Packman, and works pretty good. PFDAN................................... Drk^Angel
