My exciting night.......

Bill and I came to Shreveport this afternoon to babysit with our 3 year old grandson. First thing he says when we pick him up is, "Let's go eat at Fuglers." (The local eating establisment in Blanchard, LA). Well we call his parents and meet them at Fuglers......

NO ONE TOLD US IT WAS KARAOKA NIGHT!!!! And I was driving and couldn't even drink!!!!!!!!

My grandson has a beautiful voice and sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"....  He wanted Granny to get up and sing for the nice people, but the last time she did that (In NV back a few years ago) she discovered she didn't know the words to "Hound Dog" and Elvis had LEFT the building before she got up.. (well, I'll never see those people again so what the heck - I was LOUD!)

My ears are still ringing and I'm ready for bed now.  Think I'm just getting too damn old for this stuff...... (only 15 more years till the little one graduates and leaves home!! - not sure I'm gonna make it).

Hope all ya'll's evening was as exciting as mine Cry

Hugs BD

You sang? That's great. I'd never do that.. Don't have the voice nor courage.

You're lucky you came out alive. Drinking is essential when stuck in a Karoke bar.
Seriously, it sounds fun and great for your grandson too.

Too bad though. We firebombed the last one in my town two years ago.....  Roll Eyes

Charlie (who will probably find a Karoke bar in Mansfield, Ohio tonight. I'll be back Saturday night)
