eric was in the ER for about 5 hours. he was getting hit so hard and was in a tremendous amount of pain. the doctor ended up giving a morphine derivitative-duiladan? and then tried a steriod and then more of the morphine. nothing worked. not O2 not imitrex. it was scary but he pulled thru. finally around 10ish eric seemed better.
thank you all for your well wishes. he is pretty tired and really has no energy to write but he wanted to send you all thanks and hugs.

Joanna...they probably gave him dilaudid. Did it even help at all? It seems like the narcs tend to make most of us a little loopy, but still in pain - that is unless they give us enough to kill a horse.  I'm glad you were there with him. Tell him to keep on fighting!!!
