What a waste of time.
I can proudly say that I haven't wasted any of my remaining time on Earth watching these cleverly disguised soap operas.
Hey....... Everyone else is starting trouble. Why can't I???

I must admit that I watch Survivor... But you're right, lots of reality tv shows are crap. I just hate that as media student I had to watch many of them because of university projects.

I enjoyed the 2 or 3 episodes of the Osbornes that I caught. And the 10 minutes of The Surreal life. Other than that, i have never, ever, watched any of the others. Mooshie likes Fear Factor...go figure.

I’ve never seen a reality show, but I hear Survivor and American Idol are pretty good…The Apprentice is pretty popular…Donald Trump is on all the NY radio shows a lot of mornings talking about it.

Yeah, actually, he is. One of my jobs in NY City was working for an advertising company right across the street from the Trump Tower. I saw his ugly ass almost every day and he walked around like how dare you breathe the same air he breathes.

Well Pat I agree, reality TV is a waste of time. I refuse to watch it or even get involved with it. As far as the Air Force Survival training, cant say much about it, but I would enjoy taking them and dropping them off for Jungle Warfare and Survival School that I went through in the Marine Corps in the Phillipines. That would make interesting TV!

I just had a wonderful idea for the perfect reality show. We put a person in a room with say 10 CH'ers in cycle and give him a bottle of tylonol and tell him that is the only thing that will help these peoples headaches. If he or she survives 96 hours with these folks. He wins a million dollars.

They are trying to get a fire started to cook the only thing they have, a fish head and a lizard tail.
Fights break out about who gets the fish head and who has to sleep with Ugly Sue.
“I ain’t sleepin’ wit Ugly Sue” says Skinny Soulman. “I’d eat a lizard tail first”.
“I’ll do her if you give me the fish head” says Beggar Brad. “And a dime”
Then the camera pulls back……….and what comes into the picture.
1 Producer sitting in a lounge chair in the shade
2 executive producers
3 electricians
3 apprentice electricians
4 sound people
11 make up people
4 hair dressers
5 writers
7 lighting people
8 go-fors
350 Japanese tourists (at $20 each) crammed onto bleachers made for 300
and a buffet layout big enough to feed a small army.
In the back ground, above the palm trees you can see the top 9 stories of the Hilton Hotel.
Saviors in Reality. American television at it's finest.

Oddly enuff I kinda like 'The Smiple Life' with Paris Hilton and Niclole......cuz I'd love to be able to cut up like that at jobs and make it a big joke. Weird I know.

That show is a joke. They build pretty bikes but the 'hurry up and get it built cause there's a deadline' has gotten real old. And that nasty mouth fat bastard that plays the part of the father needs a BFH across the side of his head. Mikey is the only intelligent and entertaining person on that show.
American Hot Rod could be a good show if they got rid of Boyd Coddington.
Sure, he's built a lot of nice cars (aka trailer queens) but he needs a good bitchslap.

Yeah the other day American choppers had a BIG delema and called everyone into the office. They had 20 bikes to build in a short amount of time so they all sat around looking so depressed and distraught and then they started argueing and the dad was crying ? That episode made me SICK.......who ever wrote that episode should be beat with a hot exhaust pipe. As much as they make on them bikes and have em all fabricated (unless a custom design) how could anyone feel sorry for them and not think they look like big bunch of whinner whussy's !!! Yeah Myth Busters may just be worthwhile.
This doesn't just apply to what we call reality TV:
I love it when PBS or National Geographic stuff shows some guy climbing Everest or risking his life in dangerous pursuits. One wonders at that stunning photography and how it was obtained.
Now there's something I'd like to see: Taking pictures while holding on to rocks.
