I'd like to move to Finland but the commute to Las Vegas everyday to work would be a killer.

Finland is a Western nation and ally of the US and therefore a target for these terroists whose main goal is to destroy anything American/Western and bascially take over the world. Unless you be wanting to wear a permanent veil and be a non person the rest of your life living under a very rigid religious therocracy, you can thank God America is there to be the bad guy and do the dirty work ie fighting and war. The only reason the Carribean and Canada remain free is because of American whether they like to admit it or not. Castro would have taken over a long time ago. And Europe follows, then Asia. Charlie--am I hearing you correctly that you believe it's okay for Iran to develop nuclear weapons? If so, how many hours after development would you say it'd be on American shores?
I agree, certainly, about keeping the public clamoring for safety but it's always been about bogeymen in the past-(the commies are coming) --today it's folks that chop off people's heads on camera with dull instruments and strap their children w/bombs.
If al-Qaida and the other nuts attain a weapon, they're using it. Mecca be damned.
