Busy Weekend

Saturday We went to the MS Walk here in Stillwater, OK.  Sahara, my grand daughter, walked with me.  She probably walked 3 of the 3.2 miles around Boomer Lake.  She only asked to be carried a few times and then not for long.  Everyone was so amazed that a 20 month old would do so well.

As if that wasn't enough, the restaurant where John,  my 18 y/o son, works was having a "Kids Day."  She jumped around in the "Moon Walk" for quite some time.  She was still wearing the medal she got for completing the MS Walk - absolutely refused to take it off.

Saturday evening the wife and I went to Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa to see our neice perform with the "Roustabouts."  An excellent show with singing, dancing and a jazz ensemble.  Wish I had a video camera.

Sunday, Sahara and I chased each other around the house and around the yard and played on the swing all day.  We got plumb tuckered out and ended up falling asleep in my chair in the afternoon.  My son took this pic of us crashed out.  Paw Paw and the Angel.

Surprisingly enough, the beast left me alone during the nap.  Wish that were true of the whole day, but I'll take my little breaks where I get them.
