April 2, was a bad day. I drove to my fathers house in Bivins on Fri. and left to go to Donnas party, Sat. on my way I passed through Mt. Pleasant Texas. A DPS officer flipped a bitch and got behind me on I30. Pulled beside me and stayed in my blind spot for about a mile. Then pulled up beside me and stared at me hard. I smiled and nodded then he pulled ahead and started doing the same to the car in front of me. I hit an exit to get a coke and a pack of smokes to let him go on because he was slowing traffic down. I no sooner hit the Highway 49 exit when he hit his breaks and followed me down the exit with his lights on. He walked up to my car and said I was following the car in front of me to close. As I am standing beside his car I hear over his radio I am wanted in Cass County for assualt with bodily injury warrant. So I am cuffed and brought to the Titus County Jail in Mt. Pleasant. In June 2000 a coworker of my wife asked her to quote " give him some nookie'" after giveing her a ride home. This was infront of my 9 year old daughter. When she told me I went to his job waited for him to come outside and beat the shit out of him. I was given a year in jail suspended, a years probation, fined, and paid his medical bills. I dont regret it and I would do it again. At the jail I was stripped searched, since It was a violent offence I also had the all to unpleasant cavity search. I had them go to my car and get my O2 and the rest of my drugs. Then explain that when I needed them, I really needed them then not later. I do have to admit that they were very accommodating. I got what I needed when I needed. They even gave me a "clean" cell and turned off the fluorescent lights since they are a trigger for me. After spending the night in jail I went in front of the local magistrate. I was informed that it was a no bail warrent and that Cass County would be there to get me Mon. morning. I had called my wife in Kansas who was at work, so I had to tell my daughter that her Dad was in jail. She called my father who called the DA. All the Da could say was that the warrent was 5 years old. Later that afternoon I was released with no explanation. I had to get my car out of impound and drive to my Dads. By this time I was ready to get the hell out of Texas in case they changed their mind. I had another appointment in Fort Worth Mon. that I decided to blow off. I left that night to head home and just north of Sallisaw, OK my freakin car broke down. The tension pully's bearings went out and I lost my serpentine belt. This is late at night. I called my wife and had her dive down to get me. By the time I got home it was time to go work. It was a slow day so an employee and I went and got my car. Well my Dad got hold of the Sheriff of Cass Co. Troop Estis and was told that I had missed a payment on my probation and that was the cause of the warrent. Funny I have 12 cashed checks to the Probation Dept. The titus county jailers had told cass about my medical problems and Cass decided that I wasn't worth the trouble, and expence so they voided the warrant. LoL Ch saved me a month in jail. As a note I work in a federal facillity and have a criminal background check every year. The probation department had my phone #, my employers #, my Dads #. A phone call would have fixed everything. Another thing the warrant was for the offence of Assault with bodily injury not revocation of probation. I think somebody screwed up because I paid all my dues. Anyhow thats my suck ass weekend, and to top it all off I missed Donnas Party.

I don't see going to Texas anytime in the near future. Like Charlie said I'm laying low for awhile. At least until I figure out if they want me or not. Btw I thought of those enchiladas when they gave me dinner that night

| Doesn't sound like the problem was in Texas. Sounds like a Kansas fuck up. Sorry you had to go through that. The enchiladas were absofukenlutely the best I have ever eaten. BTW, know why the wind blows so hard in Oklahoma? 'Cause Kansas sucks and Texas blows! Anyways, we can always have the get together here in Oklahoma. I'll do a homemade traditional Korean dinner this time. Not all Korean food is "Oh my God" hot. There are actually a lot of Korean dishes that are not spicy at all. OR We could do the bonfire thing and roast hotdogs and marshmallows. I've got 4 acres here with a small pond if anyone wants to drown a worm. Most of the grass has even been cut. Well, around the house anyways. Let me know and I'll start planning a menu.

Hot damn, Matt! Sounds like you really know how to party! I ended up in jail once. Not an experience I'd like to repeat. I got busted on a Thursday night, and my dad told them to leave me in there until Sunday evening. Three days in the county drunk tank at the age of 16, for public intoxication, assault and battery, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and assaulting an officer.... Not one of life's high points... LOL

Geezzz Maff, if you'd just called me.. I was only about 50 miles away and could have come up and spung ya. And my hubby is a native Cass County boy -- makes a lot of difference there (who you know). I guess tho this is one time ch came in handy. After one look at a person going thru that, they probably figured you didn't need anything else. Anyhow, if you ever get in trouble around here again - call me. I'm serious - I'll come sping ya. Hugs BD
