It has been two years since I have had a cycle start. Checked my log on date and that was when my last cycle began. I've noticed a different "pressure" along the right side of my head across my temple at certain times of the day. It is not a shadow. It just reminds me of the area where the pain begins. It has been going on for about two weeks now and has not gone any further, thank God. Do any of you know of any symptoms, not including a shadow, that lets you know if it's certainly on the way? I could do without a round of this shit. Thanks. Steve G

I sorry to say that it sounds a little scary to me. I've never really experienced that, though. In retrospect, the only real changes I notice ahead of a cycle is a change in my sleep patterns .... suddenly awakening at night when the beast used to visit, etc. I never actually know a cycle is starting until I get that first hit at 1:00 AM. Here's hoping it's just an anomoly! Kris

Pressure is the pain I get sometimes right before a CH attack or right before a migraine. Sometimes the pressure lasts days before turning into anything. Sometimes it just goes away. Sorry not much help Vibes it just goes away!

I have been told that I seem to get jittery..edgy for "no aparent reason"..is almost like my body knows its comin & is like a defense mechanism or something.. i dunno. I also tend to REALLY seem to need more sleep...like my body is stocking up because it knows very soon, sleep will be in very short supply. I am hoping that your cycle is not lurking around the corner but just some kind of fluke... huggs Shari

Steve, It's the damn parade's!!!! That shit would give anyone a pain. Guess we'll have to get Tracey over there.....one hug from her, and you'll know if it's cycle time or not..LMAO. Have you tried a couple Excedrin Migraines? Seems to help a few of us. Maybe they'll get rid of that weird feelin'. Let me know how you're doing, sweetie. Give my love to Lady Di Love ya, Jean

Steve, this last cycle was like that for me. I spent a couple of weeks "ramping up," unsure of whether I was in cycle or not. A hit in the middle of the night that had me stumbling out of bed certainly answered that question. I'm sorry, pal. I hope the "distant rumblings" don't become anything worse, but now might be a good time to buying some kudzu, getting your oxygen replenished, and whatever else you usually do. My best to you, -Frank

The first indication that I'm entering a cycle and I'm on the offensive. Start the prevents, call the Doc, stock up on the meds.

Thanks folks. Checked my med stash and I can't believe all of the different types of crap I was taking. I have alot of left over stuff but I wish I had done more hoarding after my last cycle ended. Anyway, thanks again for the replies and all of the best wishes. Pain free wishes to all. Steve G
