After all that took place over the Terri Schiavo ordeal. I have found a quick living will. It can be cut and pasted for any state. my you never need it. Living Will I, _________________________ (fill in the blank), being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to sit up and ask for a Beer and Cigarette , it should be presumed that I won't ever get better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my spouse, children and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a day. http://uslivingwillregistry.com/forms.shtm

Cute... But in all reality a living will is a good thing to have. I personally have this one in effect. http://www.ilrg.com/forms/livingwill2.html I spoke with my doctor and reworded some things to my specifications and wishes, regarding pregnancy (which can be removed completly), mental capacity, pain medication, etc. Please in all seriousness. Look this over, talk with your family. I know that my family knows my wishes, but I do not want them to have to make that call in this type of situation. It is worth it to me to have taken the time to get this complete and know that this will not be a burden for them. -Tia

Jonny, That really made me smile. EXCEPT for the fact that you had to go through it! Your attitude made me smile More people need to have your tenacity about life! I met my boyfriend's family on Easter Sunday. As soon as I met his uncle, my first thought was, "OMG...it's a relative of Jonny!" The dude had long black hair, tats everywhere, smoking like a chimney, and has all kinds of crazy stories like that! I shoulda taken his picture with my camera phone. My boyfriend walked into the ER several years ago with two almost completely collapsed lungs. He was pissed that they were trying to get him off the phone in order to insert the bilateral chest tubes to reinflate his lungs. I can see already we're gonna be some match! haha Lizzie
