LOL! You are on the right track, Frank. Not a fix for a break though... Think suspension travel and that horrible tippy feeling going up an eight-foot waterfall...

Yikes!! Waterfalls are fun! "The pucker meter is pegged!!" (Chains are dangerous, though. Be careful using them on the trail! Ditto for those horrid tow straps with steel hooks at the ends!)

See, I knew you'd catch on...
There's too much travel in the suspension in the front going over the big stuff... This limits the travel and is adjustable.
How about a look at the outside?
Tow straps with hooks are evil.

Last summer, a wheeler in one of our local clubs lost his life when the hook on a towstrap sprang loose and came back through the windshield. I doubt if he felt a thing, it happened so fast....

Yep. You aren't allowed to ride in our club if you have the straps with metal hooks.

Back in the days of real muscle cars, I saw a few engines chained down. You could almost see the cars' frames twisting when the engines revved up. I've seen a normal drive shaft twisted into a candy cane by a monster engine.
