I won't even go into the list of reasons why. Let's just say it's hard to keep a positive attitude when you try to climb out of a hole that has been digging deeper and deeper for 7 years. To compound things, I have a friend in ICU who is in a coma from a drug overdose and they don't expect him to come out of it. What is eating at me is, we hung out the day of the incident and I had no clue he was that depressed. I keep replaying it over and over in my head trying to see what I might have missed. Hell I can't even think straight right now. I guess sleep deprivation and visits from the beast every other hour aren'y helping either. Carl

There is no way you could have known about your friend...some people are quite skilled at hiding when they are depressed. Carl, please don't beat yourself up about this(Though I would too in your shoes I guess). You are a very perceptive person and take good care of your friends. I'm sure he very much enjoyed your company that day. You are not alone....please come back here to talk more(pm me if ya need)...we hear you.... -lionsound

| Last thing you need when you are in a hole is a shovel.

You're gonna be okay Carl. Trust me. I've been through different but similar stuff. Posting here or getting out is good for this. Rant away. Charlie

Thanks for the vibes & well wishes. I am frazzled, but okay. It's just hard to make sense out of things when so many senseless things are going on. Peace, Carl
