What's it about? Did any of you see "Ring Two" lately? If so...what did you think? I thought it was scary and very gross, but it was pretty good! L2

Here's one of many online movie reviews (these reviews kinda ruin the movie-watching experience... so you've been warned, don't blame me for ruining it): http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041028/REVIE WS/40923005/1023 Based on most reviews it seems like there's not much middle ground... you'll either love it or you'll find it irritating. The movie is fairly cold and brutal (and primitive), so those looking for an emotive experience are probably turned off by it (it's kinda like 'Natural Born Killers' in that regard). The director (James Wan) is an up-and-comer to watch for in the future. Dammit, just watch it... LOL --- Steve edited to add: it is polarizing: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/saw/

well, someone has to dissent. I thought the movie sucked. Yeah it was a thriller. Yeah it was psychological. It was suspensful, and it was exciting. Yes, it screwed with my mind. Whatever. What sucked about it was the Deus Ex Machina ending. I thought it was cool until the end, and then I thought it sucked. It was a huge disappointment for me. I still don't think that anything in the genre touches Se7en. Sorry, Casey

We saw "Saw" and it made us say "That was a f*cked up movie" for about an hour after. And yeah we thought it was good. The incredibles was cool, the kids loved it. But ya gotta watch the bonus disk, and watch "Jack Jack Attack" and "Boundin" too cute. Anyone see "Flight Out Of Pheonix"? Watched that last night and I thought it ROCKED! Also I'm wanting to see "Ladder 49" ..... anyone see that? How was it?

I can't watch that kind of stuff with a 3 1/2 year old around. I DID watch The Incredibles last night. The boy kind of reminds me of myself when I was younger with all that energy. I liked the little cartoons that they included too.

I didn't like "Saw" very much. It was okay... "The Grudge" scared the fire outta' me... *shudder* I've also got "Boogeyman" on pre-order. The previews looked really good.

OK. Finally "saw" it last night at the urging of my daughter. I was certain I was going to see a slasher kind of Freddy Kruger thing, but was actually pleasantly surprised. I liked it! Thought it was a really good type of thriller. The ending was quite a setup wasn't it? When do you think "Saw II" will be released? Kris

My jaw is still dragging the floor two weeks later. I thought the movie was essentially over and then it was like, wait a minute...what's was that...back it up...huh? noooooo.
