I don't do trex, but I believe I read in a thread something about being cautious in mixing kudzu and trex.  "Zu" may lower your blood pressure on it's own.

The 02...are you on 10 liters?

It was 5 days of kudzu and horrible hits all night long before I was PF.  I take solaray 1 tab in the a.m. one before dinner and two before bed.  Also take magnesium and melatonin.  I've been PF 12 days now.

Don't give up on kudzu, I believe it needs to build up in your system.

Are you any better?

Well I survived another night.  Will continue the Kudzu and give it time to be effective.  The Indocine makes me  a little skeptical we will see.

I am groggy today but otherwise ok.

I thought Indocin/Indomethacin was recommended for CPH sufferers not CH'ers...
First ensure the Indocin is for you/not for you, THEN try the Kudzu.
I don't think anybody's tried that combination before, as far as I know...

Someone suggested that I had CPH that is the only reasone I started Indocine.  It is perscribe to take as needed up to three times a day.  I don't believe it helped with the pain last night but am keeping an open mind  laugh.

I was doing ok with Kudzu except for a little lightheaded yesturday and when I got home I took a dose of Indocine because my head was bothering me then all those symptom described above showed up.  Maybe its just a shocker to the body.  I don't know. Embarassed

Was that "Someone" a Doctor?

Have you been diagnosed?

If your getting light headed taking Kudzu you should tell a Doctor, it could be lowering your blood pressure to much.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Both times I tried Indocin it made my stomach hurt like hell.  My doctor put me on it many years ago to rule out CPH when my cluster attacks were very short (<5 minutes each) for a while.  Did nothing for me.  I would think that mixing the Kudzu and the Incocin would mke it difficult to reach any conclusions about either one.

I think I had false hope with the Indocine its only as needed 50mg but so far each time I have taken it the CH stays the same without relief.  Following its daily pattern like clock work.

Kudzu since Wed. and am still feeling pain right now kip 3 and around 10/11pm at a Kip 5-6.

For the next couple of days I will avoid Indocine and try just the Kudzu.

(Also got the hair done and sentive nose lately is also part of the problem...)

Jonny I was Dx. with CH two months ago.  The reason for the Indocine was someone on here said that my s/s didn't sound like CH they sounded like CPH I thought anything was possible.  So I talked with the doc.  Looks like theory has been proven.  I am a true CHer.

Checked BP and didn't drop much.  I think it was the quick change and the combo of Indocine and Kudzu as well as the pain all together.

Sorry I missed your post...

There's a feather in your cap you didn't need to wear. Now you know you don't have CPH, get the O2 thing squared away, then let's talk drugs.

I tried Indocin way back in the 70's, didn't help me at all.
Try to keep your head up and don't give up, I hope you find something that helps you soon.

(getting caught up now Smiley)

Kim,
When I take indocin at first ...or after having been off it for a while...it does make me very lightheaded and I feel really strange, kind of unco-ordinated and floaty until I've taken it for a few days. Come to think of it it also made me feel strange if I took it without enough food in my belly.

I had been taking it for the ice pick jabby things but had to stop because it gave me rebound HA when I took it daily , and now I just take it as a regular NSAID for when I tweak my neck and can't move.

Hope you're feeling better,
PF's
