I got a call from a SGT tonite that had already returned to the states when my care package arrived in Iraq (I dont even know this guy) and he told me that it went to a dude that had just arrived there, he apologized for taking so long to call but who am I to blame him for that.
Sorry in advance for all the dial uppers (this is huge) but we must NEVER FORGET!!

Spent the day in an emergency response tabletop exercise trying to improve public health response. kinda like trying to herd chickens 
Damn dial up, will have to watch it at work tomorrow. I have a really great powerpoint of photos from Sept. 11 but dont have anywhere to put them up.

I looked at this post this morning at 5:30 central time. I was up visiting with my wife (we both work ambulance)She was getting ready for work. Sat down beside me and watched the entire thing. It brought a tear to both of our eyes. I love my country, I love my bros who are in the middle of the shit right now, I wish I was with them. The main problem with this country right now is that they swore they would never forget and most have. Most have forgoten how they sat or stood in front of the tv glued to it waiting and praying. All wanting to kick someones ass. Well we are kicking someones ass and now they are pissing and moaning about it. They all need to watch this clip and remember what our country had placed upon our shoulders. This is the first time I have been back on line after watching the clip. Now I am going to take it and post it on some of the other boards that I visit and let them remember and email the link to my freinds. Then I will crawl back into my hole.

Yes God bless em all... might not be what they thought they were signing up for but the are all doin us proud... With a heavy heart I said goodbye to my son Sean again... I bought a new flag when I was in LeJeune to replace the one that I put up from Quantico after the WTC tragedy happened on 9/11/01. Its waving outside my house and will until it fades enough to be replaced. I thought I would start this recent deployment with a flag from Seans base.
I just want to say thanks for keeping the men and women high on your prayer lists...... you guys are great... thanks jonny for the thread... I know I will never forget...... I have the wrinkles and greys to prove it... ree  My son is in there somewhere!!! God Speed Seanny!
