God damnit......I didn't start this thread. That weasely little fuck deleted the intro note, and left me holding the bag........just as I'd completed construction of the seasonally significant _Cross_ I was going to use to nail this simple shit in place......with GUSTO. Go have your 11 pages of diatribe. I was done with this fucker in 9 seconds..........

This won't BE easy. First things, first...use the word "cure" around here and you might as well paint a big red target on your behind. That is a fact.
Second, if there were a cure...someone around here has probably already tried it.

What? Every day? Every other day? For a week? A month? And BTW, Cluster Headaches don't last seven hours.
#2: Using the word "cure" for a disease that not only has no known cure, but that the brightest minds in neurological research don't even know what causes it, is asking to be screwed with. Especially when you say you are worried about someone "taking advantage of it?" WTF is that all about? If you have information spell it out. The people here will either thank you or tell you it's been tried and didn't work. Dangling a carrot in front a bunch of tired, hurting, desparate people is a good way to get that carrot shoved up your ass.
#3: We are a family here and family helps each other. No one that suffers like we do would ever withhold information that would stop the suffering from another clusterhead unless that person were some callous, insensitive, sadistic arsehole or a snake oil salesman out to make a buck off the suffering of others.
So what is this cure? SinusBusters? Catshit on the forehead? Hot peppers up the schnoz? Spit it out boy!

Easy, take it easy. We are bunch of people who have tried every trick we've found out and few more. Some of them work for some, others don't.
I'm on prevention no 6 or 7, so excuse me, if I'm sceptical even to my neuro's suggestions about new meds. It's good to try things and tell others about it,
though. But you shoudn't expect that any "cure" would work on everybody.

huh? like people trying it and maybe it working? and then you could go to bed tonight with the great feeling that you cured thousands of people from an incredibly painful affliction. and then the nasty corporate pharmaceutical folks pull up in your driveway and beat you senseless for the rights, and then they withhold it from the sufferers unless they "pay up". But you fight them off, and continue to try to help the real sufferers, you post it all over the internet, and people are being cured all over, and you still feel good, even though there's people breathing down your neck and want you to sign over the rights to "the cure". you win the nobel prize for medicine, and for peace too, and you keep fighting those who want to take advantage of the secret cure.
oh...... sorry, for that delusional moment.
