I know a chronic...

And I have known him since I was a kid. Every time that I see and talk to this man he brings up his CH's. I have tried and tried to steer him to this sight for some useful information to arm himself with when he goes to see his doc. and he just says no thanks, I'll tough it out. He always says to me that I obviously know what I'm talking about regarding certain abortives, preventatives and such but he prefers to not take anything. I know that these things are ruining this mans life one CH at a time, and I'm not sure he is getting the proper treatment from his doc. but I don't know what else to do, because I sure would like to help him in any way that I can. Even if I printed out some information, I'm not sure that he would even read it. Maybe I should just do it anyway and see what he says. I refuse to just walk away from this. Geez, I thought I was stubborn!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jimbo

That's hard, Jimbo. I have a sister who is episodic and while she tried some treatments in the past, she's in denial about a lot of stuff.  She insists she's cured herself by giving up sugar...after her last episode. Prior to that she "cured" herself by stopping anti-depressants. No amount of talking to her helps. She'd married to a doctor and he can't even talk to her about it. I have just suggested kudzu to her...she likes the idea of it being natural. I'm hoping she tries it for her next episode.
