Need you......

As a lot of you know, I've been having an increasingly severe back problem blooming for over three years now. I had another flare up last August which lasted 12 weeks. and I'm in the middle of another one already and now into my 5th week.
The problem is 3 bulging discs, severe spinal stenosis and scoliosis which is quite painful. It usually goes away by itself after about 12 weeks......the doc doesn't want to operate, so I've just gone along with it........until this time. It's a bit too much, and I'm going to a pain mgmt. doc and a new Internist next week who will be referring me to another neurological surgeon.
I've had the 3 steroid epidurals already, physical therapy and rest, but rest is impossible as there's no pain free position.
I'm pretty sure I'm at a point where whey can't deny me surgery anymore....the nerves are just too compressed, but I absolutely need to work for about one more year to pay my car off so that I can retire and make it on my social security.
So, I'm asking....please......pray for me to overcome this thing just one more time. I'll do whatever I need to do after that. I just need this one last chance.
Prayers are all that are going to do this for me, and I need a real choir vibrating the wind current to heaven.

I hate pain, physical, mental, in the freaking head. Sounds like you been dealing with this long enuff. Prayers you got, not sure how much good mine will do but they are there. Hope things work out for you.

I stand up alot.......then I broke my foot which is 'still not healed'........some sort of pain management will help you thru the bad times and give you a break sumwhat cuz ya can only take so much of that pain I know.....it's 24/7. Stand alone Pam

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I'm not a baby (of course not cause I'm a clusterhead), but man, this hurts some all of the time, and it really wears you down after a while. Like I'm telling you guys something that's a million times less than what you feel with ch. I've done my complaining.
