Well this isnt a pitty party it is just a note to let those who have lost someone that is dear to them that they are not alone, and to let them share in the hurt. Also to say that the pain does not go away but it does get easier. Here is my point. One year ago my father died on this date. As a child I never thought about him dying, as a young adult I knew it would happen. Just not so soon. My father and I were not that close until I got back from my first tour in combat. Then we really bonded. He became my buddy as well as my father. Before Amy he was the only one who understood my CH. I have not forgotten him, I know that he is not in pain and he lived his life on his terms and died the same way. I miss him and his bullshit. He loved a practicle joke and would love the attitude of most everyone here. I miss just talking on the phone to him which was a daily occurence. Well I dont want a bunch of notes or messages to say how sorry you all are for my loss and to hang tough. Because I am ok with it. I just wanted to let everyone know that the pain never stops but it does get better. Also to spend time with your loved ones, and dont remember the times that your loss was sick, remember the silly bullshit that they done and how they made you smiled and how special they were to you. Dont mourn their passing enjoy the memories. Rember that they loved you and are now PF. Later Rodger

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I feel the same way. Time does wonders and he was a great guy, now after the fact, he's even greater. God, did he help me one time especially..... Charlie
